University of Anbar Sport and Physical Education Science Journal (UASPESJ) uses a double-blind peer review system to ensure publication quality. All manuscripts must be submitted through the online manuscript management system.

The author (researcher) must first register in our system, and then the article can be submitted.

We will use Turnitin to check for similarities before sending it to reviewers.

We will notify matching authors within 1-2 months of their manuscripts through our online system.

Arbitration steps:

1-      Article Submission: The author (researcher) submits the article to the Anbar University Journal of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, usually via an online system.

2-      Structural Evaluation: The Editorial Board Director checks the composition and arrangement of the article according to the author''s guidelines in the journal to ensure that it includes the required sections and styles. The quality of the article is not evaluated at this stage.

3-      Evaluation and treatment of the editor-in-chief: The editor-in-chief checks that the article is suitable for the journal and that it is original and interesting enough. If this is not the case, the article may be rejected without further review.

4-      Checking plagiarism: the article is tested in this step by Turnitin to obtain similarity results, if it is less than 20%, the article is considered to be from the assignment of references, otherwise the article is rejected due to similarity results.

5-      Invitation to reviewers (referees): The editor-in-chief sends invitations to individuals who he thinks will be suitable reviewers. Referees can review the arbitration method by viewing the explanatory video by clicking (here(.

When the journal receives the responses in a timely manner, further invitations are issued, if necessary, until the required number of admissions is obtained (two decisions are acceptable to the reviewer).

6-      Responding to Invitations: Potential reviewers consider the invitation against their expertise, conflict of interest, and availability. Then they accept or reject.

7-      Review procedure: The reviewer takes time to read the article several times. The first reading is used to form a first impression of the work. If significant problems are found at this stage, the reviewer may feel comfortable rejecting the article without further work. Otherwise, they will read the article several times, taking notes to build a detailed review point by point. The review is then submitted to the journal, with a recommendation that it be accepted or rejected - or with a request for review (usually marked as major or minor) before reconsideration.

8-      The journal evaluates reviews: The editor-in-chief takes into consideration all the reviews returned before making a comprehensive decision. If the reviews differ significantly, the editor may invite an additional reviewer to obtain additional opinion before making a decision.

9-      Basic Decision: The editor-in-chief sends an e-mail of the decision to the author, including any relevant reviewer''s comments. The name of the references is unknown as to the author(s).

10-   The author sent the revised manuscript: The author must make the changes requested by the reviewer, and must highlight these changes in red or yellow shade.

11-   Final decision: If accepted, the author must pay the publishing fee, and send the article to the page designer and then to the publisher.
