Abstract
The problem of rupture of the Achilles tendon in the ankle joint is one of the common injuries in football, because the foot is the one on which all the loads and pressures of sports training fall. The foot is considered the base on which the body rests, and therefore it is exposed to many and recurring sports injuries on football fields and elsewhere. Among other sports, a ruptured Achilles tendon injury may lead the injured player to not practice sports or play for long periods if he is not rehabilitated and trained in a solid scientific manner, as well as not strengthening the muscles surrounding and supporting the ankle joint, and these are factors that lead to injury. The primary goal of the research is to develop rehabilitation and physical exercises for Achilles tendon rupture in the ankle joint.
The study was conducted on a sample of (19-23) infected players.
The researcher used the experimental method (pre-post)
The researcher used the statistical method SPSS
The researcher concluded that rehabilitative and physical exercises had a positive effect on the balance and physical characteristics investigated and the injured returned to playing and competing.
The most important recommendations were to benefit from research procedures and the training curriculum, and the need to pay attention to the treatment and rehabilitation of Achilles tendon rupture in the foot joint in football players immediately after the injury.
