Abstract
The research aims to identify which of the two methods ispreferred in learning some technical catches in the game of freestyle wrestling for students relative to the curriculum of the wrestling teacher, and the researcher assumed there are Statistically significant differences between the results of the pre- and post-tests and in favor of the post-tests among the members of the three groups. The researcher used the experimental method in the method of the three equivalent groups to suit the nature of his research problem, and they are students of the third stage / Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences / Maysan University for the academic year (2022-2023), and then the researcher conducted parity on the three groups to be distributed equally using the law of test analysis of variance (F), the main experiment was applied, the period of its implementation reached (10) weeks, by an educational unit per week out of a total of (15) weeks allocated for the second semester of the third stage, the number of units in each of the two curricula reached (10) educational units, and after the end of the main experiment period, the researcher conducted post-tests on the three groups to process the data statistically. The researcher reached the following conclusion: Learning in the style of simulation was the best in learning the freestyle wrestling grabs used in the research compared to the self-learning method and the method used by the teacher.
