Abstract
The current study aims to identify the psychological flexibility and athletic hesitation of students aged 16-18 years in the long jump efficacy in Physical Education Lesson, and to identify the relationship between psychological flexibility and psychological (sports) hesitation among students as it is one of the psychological variables that affect their behavior and their ability to adapt to the circumstances surrounding them. The study assumed the existence of a significant correlation between psychological flexibility and psychological (sports) frequency, as the number of the sample was (61) students who represented middle schools in the center of Anbar Governorate for the academic year (2017-2018), and the researcher used the descriptive approach to suit the nature of the study. The two standards of psychological flexibility and psychological frequency were applied in sports, where the first one included (50) phrases and the second (51) phrases were distributed on the two five axes. After unpacking and processing the data using statistical methods, they were put into schedules for the purpose of discussing them in an accurate and scientific manner. The results of the study reached several conclusions, the most important of which were:
-Students aged 16-18 years have low psychological resilience.
so the study recommended the following: -
-The necessity for physical education and sports teachers to pay attention to the psychological aspect of students in order to reduce sports hesitation when practicing physical activity
