Abstract
The aim of this research is to identify the relationship between the maximum electrical activity of the muscles of the legs and the degree of performance of the speed test, as well as some anthropometric measures for basketball players, and to identify the relationship between the performance of the speed test and some anthropometric measures for basketball players. The intentional number of 6 players, so that each player performs 3 attempts to test the speed with an interval of 15 minutes to get acquainted with the motor speed and the electrical activity (EMG) indicators of the muscles of the legs during the motor speed test of the muscles related to performance. The DELESYS electrical activity meter was used to measure the electrical activity For the muscles of the legs during the performance of the motor speed test, the most important results were that there was a direct correlation between the electrical activity of the right twin muscle and the length scale during the performance of the speed test, and there was an inverse relationship between the electrical activity of the left posterior muscle and the length scale. As well as the existence of a direct correlation between the electrical activity of the anterior muscles right - left twin - right twin, and the mass scale during the performance of the speed test, and there is an inverse relationship between The electrical activity of the anterior muscle is left and between the mass scale. The lower the anthropometric measures (height - mass - BMI), the faster the basketball players, and vice versa. When the mass increases, the degree of loading on the side increases for players with right-hand control, as well as on the muscles of the right leg. The researchers recommend taking into consideration during the planning of physical loads the relationship between the anthropometric measurements of the players and the electrical activity of the muscles working in performance to guide the development of muscle strength
