The study aimed to identify the impact of the educational curriculum in the cooperative method and the approach followed in the basic skills of basketball and to identify the difference in the use of the cooperative learning method and the method used in the basic skills of basketball. The research hypotheses were as follows. There are statistically significant differences in learning basic basketball skills between the results of the pre and post tests for the control and experimental groups in favor of the post test, and there are statistically significant differences in learning basic basketball skills in the results of the post tests between the control and experimental groups and in favor of the experimental group.
The researcher used the experimental method and the experimental design method for the two experimental and control groups of equal and equal number with two tests, pre and post tests. The research community included first-year students, Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Faculty of Knowledge, University for the academic year (2021 - 2022), whose number is (70) students, divided by nature into (Two divisions), Division (B) was chosen in a simple random way (the lottery), which numbered (35) students representing the experimental group, and Division (A), which numbered (35) students, to be the control group, and after displaying the results, the researcher reached the following conclusions.
The educational units prepared according to the cooperative learning method were highly effective in improving the learning outcomes of the basic skills of basketball for the experimental group, as well as the method used by the teacher.
