Abstract
The current study aims to identify the effect of a proposed motor rehabilitation program with some physiotherapy methods to improve the ability to walk and motor balance for patients with lateral hemiplegia resulting from strokes, (ability to walk and mobile motor balance).
The research sample composed of (6) patients. The researchers used the experimental approach using the one-group design for the pre and post measurements of the group due to its compatibility with the research objectives. The period of applying the program lasted three months divided into (36) training units ,with (3) sessions per week, where the duration of the session ranged from one hour to one hour and half The program included a therapeutic exercise program as well as some physiotherapy methods (electric tennis device, electric massage device, electric heat compresses).
The results showed that there were statistically significant differences between the pre and post measurements in the ability to walk and the mobile motor balance, in favor of the post test.
The researchers recommended to necessarily using the rehabilitation program in a standardized manner immediately after the injury for patients with paralysis resulting from strokes, in order to prevent complications that may occur to patients if the rehabilitation program is neglected
