Abstract
The aim of the research is to identify the level of food culture and the reality of a healthy diet among the players of the first Iraqi national football team, and the relationship between the level of food culture and the reality of a healthy diet among players (the research sample) from their point of view. The researchers used the descriptive approach, and the research sample consisted of (21) players, who were chosen by the intentional method.
The results of the research concluded that the level of food culture among the players is high, while the reality of the diet was average from the point of view of the research sample (the players), and there is no statistically significant relationship between the level of food culture and the reality of the healthy diet among the players of the first Iraqi national football team. The two researchers made many recommendations, the most important of which is paying attention to educating the players and raising their nutritional and health awareness continuously, and conducting more studies and scientific research to develop the technical level of the players of the first Iraqi national football team
