Abstract
The current research enables the preparation of an educational competency scale according to Malcolm Baldrige learning criteria to know the most important educational competencies that must be available for teachers. And identify the responses of the research sample about the reality of educational competencies among teachers of basketball from the viewpoint of their students. The research sample was stage (third) students for morning and evening study at the College of Basic Education / Department of Physical Education and Sports Science / Al-Mustansiriya University, where the descriptive approach to survey study For suitability of the nature of the study and its goals as it helpsThe researcher has a questionnaire consisting of (5) fields and (44) words. The most prominent conclusions were by presenting the responses to the research sample, the researcher confirmed that the educational competencies are very necessary for any teacher in the educational process. And the adequacy of the lesson planning and its requirements occurred on a large level, and this is because the teachers are planning their lessons well and help to provide the necessary supplies for the lesson. Adequacy of encouraging the students on a large level has occurred, as this ratio indicates that the teachers encourage their students during the lesson in a big way.
