Abstract
The research aims to Revealing the impact of the proposed training program on developing vertical jumping and accuracy of correction from achieving the purposes of jumping for handball players (students of the College of Physical Education and Sports Science).
- The differences between the pre and post tests in vertical jump and the accuracy of correction by jumping in the research sample
The research sample represented by the intentional (intentional) method and which "is freely chosen on the basis that it is the study carried out by the researchers and represents the research community of handball players represented by students of the College of Physical Education and Sports Science - University of Mosul, who represent students of the College of Physical Education and Sports Science For the season (2019-2020) and the number (20) students, after students who were left behind from training and tests were excluded, and the research sample was divided into two experimental and control groups consisting of (7) players each by lot.
In the light of the research sample and the method used, and after presenting and discussing the results, the following conclusions can be drawn: The use of a proposed training program regularly for a period of (9 weeks) at the rate of (3 times) per week, is effective in increasing the explosive strength of the muscles of the two men (for the research sample). The development of the explosive strength of the muscles of the two men using a proposed training program that has had a positive impact in improving the jump distance and the accuracy of the correction by jumping in the experimental group of the research sample. They recommended the use of jumping exercises to develop the explosive strength of the muscles of the two men because of their effectiveness in improving the vertical jumping distance of the handball player, provided that the training programs in handball include training units using the jump training to develop the strength on the vertical jump in the players
